Brian D. Edmondson is an artist based out of Philadelphia who’s skills branch farther than what goes on the page. In his early life, he spent most of his spare time drawing on notepads to keep quiet in church. He proceeded to pursue this hobby until it became a passion. Brian would eventually use this skill to earn his way into The Philadelphia High School for Creative and Performing Arts. The fundamentals built there would enhance his portfolio to capture the interest of Drexel University where he would major in Animation and Visual Effects.

Towards the end of his collegiate span, Brian would still make art pieces despite that being his homework and classwork. He would venture to different businesses to have his work displayed in different areas around the city of Philadelphia. During the height of the Black Lives Matter Movement, he would create a piece that would then be displayed in the National Liberty Museum. During this, Brian would also enter and win an anime inspired Dreamworks contest depicting the titular character, Po, from Kung Fu Panda. He would then document his journey for social media and gain over a million views across Tiktok and Instagram.

Today, Brian spends his time making graphics for the highest viewed local news station, 6abc. In his time there, he has created over 1000 graphics including stills and animations. His talents were even recognized by the marketing team of the company where he’d boost sales of merchandise. Simultaneously, Brian still draws in his leisure making works that are shared publicly online. One in particular receiving praise by the lead artist, supervisor, and producer of the Sonic movies.

Brian hopes to continue making graphics, animations, and drawings for as long as his hands will let him.
